The designer had already laid down the basis of a design vocabulary with Andrea – a living air filter which absorbs undesirable effects of contaminated air by the profusion of manufactured goods – combining the virtues of nature with contemporary technology. Hybrid is therefore a smart object with 2.0 technology partially clad in woven rattan.
