Following Dead Garden I, Dead Garden II suggests an active corridor made of dead trees founded nearby the Festival grounds, and takes advantage of the process of becoming. Hinting a horizontal flow, it is a wood vivarium enveloped by a vegetal nursery net that also works as a corridor where the rows of trunks catalyze the growth of mosses, lichens, and also that of the visitors’ movements. Selected among 290 entries of an international competition, Dead Garden II is still under construction and will be under process up to the next, 2014 International Garden Festival.
