Moscow Tatar Mosque, known also as the Cathedral Mosque, was completed in 1904. Now it is under reconstruction. The final image will be impressive. There is a professional opinion, however, that it would have been better to leave the architectural monument in its original state. There is also a non-professional opinion that the huge mosque, located immediately near the Olympic Stadium (Olimpiyskiy Sports Complex of Moscow) can contribute to anti-Islamic sentiments, and that a new mosque should be constructed elsewhere, if it is really necessary.
