The promising young generation and the Ot HaItzuv 2013 awards: the young generation was at the focal point of this year's, Israel architecture and design convention. As well as many other activities and event, an exhibition of young architects and designers studios took place. They were chosen by the Ot Haitzuv Organization to represent the younger generation, together with the United architects association.
Keynote speaker and guest of Domus Israel Rianne Makkink, intradisciplinary architect from Studio Makkink & Bey from the Netherlands was interviewed on their diverse work. Giora Urian discusses the need for a Special Tel Aviv style of design and even different styles that define its different and diverse neighbourhoods. International articles include Arch. Kris Yao's Taiwan's Steel corporation buildings in Kaohsiung, an iceberg shaped housing complex in Aarhus, Denmark created by collaboration of a few architect groups and offices, the Superkiln park in Copenhagen and Giampiero Bosoni's article on the phenomenology of roallercoasters.
