Clean Technology Entrepreneur

Marek is a prominent energy industry influencer and thought leader; cleantech advisor to the UN; and a founding member of energy storage technology company Fluence, where he currently serves as managing director.

Marek has over a decade of experience in energy, ranging from the trading floor of a coal power station; a doctoral degree in renewable energy integration; and most recently navigating the growth journey of technology start-up to unicorn valuation and IPO.  In 2017 he was named an honouree of the Forbes 30 Under 30; a list that recognises “the world’s most inspiring young innovators, bright rising stars and the leaders of tomorrow”.
