Paolo Quaini

Urban Regeneration Leader - Edison.

 

Paolo Quaini was born in Milan in 1966 and is graduated in Business Administration at Bocconi University of Milan.
He spends the first ten years of his career in management consulting at PwC, where he gains experience in different business lines supporting various industrial sectors.
His experience at Edison Milan starts in 2001 in the Strategy and Innovation area, where he deals – among other – with organization and IT transformation.
From 2003 to 2007 he starts and develops Edison Trading with the dedicated management team, where he covers increasing commercial responsibilities both with reference to bilateral contracts and activities at the European energy exchanges where the company is active.
Since 2008 he oversees the launch of the Energy Services activities at Edison with the establishment of a dedicated company where he covers various roles in sales and business development.
In 2013 he joins the EDF team in Paris dedicated to support EDF Executive Committee’s industrial decisions in the field of Energy and Environmental Services with increasing responsibilities and focus on business models, Group organization, Smart City strategy and services and Territorial Sustainability.
In 2016 he rejoins Edison Milan as CEO of the industrial sub-holding dedicated to Energy and Environmental Services, to restart and strongly develop an Italian champion through acquisitions and consolidation of various activities in Italy, Spain and Poland. After his 5 years leadership, the company is active in Energy Services to Industry and Public Administration, District Heating, Environmental and Circular Economy Services for both Private and Public, with a size of more than 500 M€ turnover and among 3,000 people.
Since June 2021, he is Urban Regeneration Leader for the Edison Group.
He’s part of several Boards of Directors of Edison's subsidiaries, he is member of the Advisory Board of the Building Life stream of the Italian Green Building Council and collaborates with several Universities on energy, cities and sustainability issues.
