Marco Rasconi is the President, and also a volunteer, of the Italian Union for the Fight against Muscular Dystrophy and past President (until 2018) of Ledha, an association promoting the rights of people with disabilities.

He provides counseling to people with disabilities and their families, helping them realize that people with disabilities can lead independent lives, as he himself in his wheelchair is living proof of, and assisting them in their journey to living independently. Marco Rasconi is also President of DM, a type B social co-operative.
