Dr Liu Thai-Ker is the Founding Chairman of MORROW Architects & Planners Pte Ltd, which he established at the age of 79. Here, he aspires to share his pragmatic and well-tested insights with the world while nurturing young planners and architects to continue creating excellent urban environments. Prior to this, he was a Senior Director with RSP Architects, CEO and Chief Architect of the Housing and Development Board, and CEO and Chief Planner of the Urban Redevelopment Authority.

Known as the Father of Singapore’s Urban Planning, he is often credited for the successful implementation of Singapore’s public housing programme and urbanisation. Dr Liu has since completed 15 architectural and over 100 urban planning and urban design projects in over 60 cities worldwide.
