At Cergas - Sda Bocconi, he is Scientific Director of the Long Term Care Observatory (OLTC).
Until December 2018, he was, among other things, head of the social and social health services area at Cergas, Centre for Research on Health and Social Care Management at Bocconi University in Milan and, previously, director of the EMMAP executive master, for the management of public administrations, also at Sda Bocconi.
Formerly a member of the Central Charitable Commission, the governing body of Fondazione Cariplo, in its previous term of office, participated in the working groups of the Sub-Committees for Services to the Person and for Art and Culture.
In the academic field, his work focuses on issues such as social innovation, planning and change in local welfare systems, institutional arrangements and service models for non-self-sufficiency.
