Alessandra Perrazzelli

Deputy Governor of the Bank of Italy and member of the Supervisory Board of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) of the European Central Bank.

 

Since 2021 she has been a Member of the Board of Directors of the Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital and of the Advisory Board of the Fintech and Insurtech Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano.
Previously she was Country Manager of Barclays Bank in Italy and member of the Board of Directors of Monte Titoli SpA, A2A and ATM (Milan’s public transport company).
She worked in Intesa Sanpaolo as Head of Institutional Regulation and as CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo Eurodesk and started her career as a lawyer in large firms in New York and Brussels.
She is a lawyer admitted to the New York State Bar.
Alessandra Perrazzelli founded and directed Valore D and the Gemma Project, supporting the positioning of women at the forefront of firms.
She graduated with honours from the University of Genoa Law School and holds a Master of Laws degree from New York University Law School.
She has been an alumna of Stanford University Business School since 2018.
Alessandra Perrazzelli was awarded the honour of Cavaliere al Merito della Repubblica Italiana in 2021.
