Journalist and writer, he is the director of the Pirelli Foundation and vice president of Assolombarda. He has been editorial director of Gruppo 24 Ore as well as editor of Lettera Finanziaria and the ApCom press agency. He has also worked for la Repubblica, Il Mondo and L’Ora, and he writes about corporate culture for the Huffington Post.
His publications include Agnelli. Una storia italiana (2004), Intervista ai capitalisti (2005), Orgoglio industriale (2009), Cuore di cactus (2010), La morale del tornio (2015) and I mille morti di Palermo (2016). He teaches journalism and media relations at Bocconi University and the Catholic University in Milan. He is a member of the board of various companies and foundations, such as Nomisma, Milan Triennale, Orchestra Verdi, Teatro Parenti, Touring Club, UniCredit Lombardia and Unipolis.
