Several designers over the past year have been forced to postpone their projects due to the global health situation. The unavailability of materials was one of the main problems that prevented many of them from creating new objects for their audience. In this situation of collective difficulty, Tim Teven started some tests with galvanized steel pipes leftovers in the warehouse of his studio in Eindhoven.

Through a series of mechanical actions such as pressing and bending, the designer was able to obtain a processing system that allowed him to effectively exploit the material. With this process and after the first result obtained, Teven will launch an entire collection based exclusively on this procedure: a technical and mechanical gesture that translates into a ready-made aesthetic.
