20 designers represent themselves through a mask

At Seeds Gallery in London, some of the most talented international designers represent their personality with masks and home furnishings.

At Seeds Gallery in London, curators Marco Campardo and Lorenzo Mason (M-L-XL) originally interpret the topic of Nature/Nurture, proposed this year by the Brompton Design District for the London Design Festival. “Masters of Disguise” investigates the human nature of artists and designers who are called upon to represent themselves through a mask. This is the interface between people and the complex social environment in which they are immersed. It can be considered as an object behind which to hide or to reveal an inner dimension.

On display are some of the most talented and relevant designers of the contemporary scene: Martino Gamper, Sabine Marcelis, Soft Baroque, Bethan Laura Wood... The authors also exhibit objects for domestic use that were used for a performative event during the opening.
