At Stockholm Furniture Fair 2019 Belgian designer Pierre-Emmanuel Vandeputte presented at Belgium is Design / Stockholm a collection of powder-coated metal furniture characterised by their disharmonious shape.
Each piece has different silhouettes and proportions: the Legs collection is conceived as a family of creatures that colonise the domestic space, in tune with every day life’s rhythms and gestures. The cold steel structures contrast with our soft, curved bodies and the flat, uninterrupted surfaces of the house.
Their strangeness is an ode and representation of our unbalanced life.
