Located in the center of Kiev, a two-story apartment designed by Anton Siriak (Marra Group) uses black as its interior philosophy. Created for a couple of filmmakers, the project is an antonym to the words ‘light’ and ‘transparency’.
The architect wanted a place where the clients could rest and enjoy silence without using cold concrete walls, trending pale colours or excessive visual noise. The interiors are full of tactile details that revolve around black and red, through matte plasters, wood and copper. The 91 sqm space includes a kitchen-studio, two toilets, a bedroom, an open wardrobe, a pantry and a loggia.
