It seems to be in a waiting room of a clinic with unrealistic operations (like in the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, a clinic to eliminate the desperate love stories from the mind). Instead, Medly is an innovative pharmacy in Brooklyn (the first of many) designed by Sergio Mannino Studio and is the physical counterpart of an online retail project (patients can have home delivery of medicines via an app). The will of the pharmacy is to differentiate itself from the others in the neighborhood. The design is playful and elegant. The color scheme is in shades of water, which transmits tranquility. The space is divided into two rooms: a waiting room where customers collect prescriptions and a much larger space on the back, where the staff works to bring the medicines requested by customers and for administrative matters.
Brooklyn: a small pharmacy where you can make friends
Sergio Mannino Studio designs Medly, a pharmacy in New York that breaks the traditional patterns and offers seats to sit down and (maybe) socialize.

The waiting room conveys serenity and thanks to the armchairs inspired to Shiro Kuramata, in green and chromed vinyl, one has the impression of being able to stay here for a long time, make friends, take a break from the city: an unusual function for a place used as a ills-collector of those who populate New York. In this way Medly offers an escape from the busy streets of the city to the outside. The waiting room also allows you to connect the staff with customers, unlike the larger pharmacies that unwittingly, with the historic high bank, separate people.
