These five very precious table sculptures can be collected and handed down from generation to generation as a wholly original family heirloom. The methods used to produce these objects, a veritable feat of manufacturing virtuosity, occupy an area somewhere between industrial production and craftsmanship. This elaborate process shows off one of Alessi’s most prized qualities – the ability to represent an efficient and contemporary model of research and design in the context of the Applied Arts.
