These are the three underlying principles behind the work of a young British designer, recently graduated from Buckinghamshire New University. His latest inventions include a foldup dining room – table, benches and wallpaper included – that when closed occupies a depth of just 17 centimetres. Like a pop-up book that opens to reveal three-dimensional worlds, in this case a door is opened to create an extra room, impeccably decorated with all the essentials. E.S.
