Eye Jewellery is the brainchild of Dutch designer Eric Klarenbeek, who explores the potential of jewellery as an integral part of the human body. A young graduate from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, Klarenbeek took a pair of contact lenses (which can also be graduated) and hung a string of tiny crystals from them that come down to the face and oscillate with the movements of the eye and eyelid. If laboratory tests are successful, according to Klarenbeek we might already see Eye Jewellery in the shops within a few months. E.S.
