A new chapter in the Atlas of Contemporary Architecture

At the Triennale di Milano the Italian architectural heritage of the second half of the 20th century as seen by ten young photographers selected through a public call for entries.

The new chapter of the Atlante Architettura Contemporanea (Atlas of Contemporary Architecture) has the scope of major commissions and the flavour of excellent synergies. In collaboration with MuFoCo and Triennale Milano, the Ministry of Culture's General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity has entrusted it to ten young photographers: Roberto Boccaccino, Marina Caneve, Davide Cossu, Louis De Belle, Luca Girardini, Marco Zorzanello, Paolo Lindozzi, Allegra Martin, Simone Mizzotti, Favia Rossi and Alberto Sinigaglia.

Luca Girardini e Marco Zorzanello, Museo Monumento al Deportato, Carpi, MO, BBPR, Albe e Lica Steiner, 1963 -1973. 2020

Coordinated by curators Matteo Balduzzi, Alessandra Cerroti and Luciano Antonio Scuderi, the ten artists have travelled around the country circumventing the limits of a blatantly personal language and putting themselves—while allowing personal sensitivities to emerge—at the service of architecture, in a choral attempt to offer a new awareness of our heritage. The exhibition's immersive layout and the detailed catalogue–guide are by Folder Studio.
