On Saturday September 11 at 6pm in Venice six friends of Pierre Restany: Maurizio Bortolotti, Nicolas Bourriaud, Stefano Casciani, Maria Grazia Mazzocchi, Alessandro Mendini and Lisa Ponti, will be presenting a book on the art critic who from the sixties was an important part of the editorial team of Domus magazine.

The book, published by Editoriale Domus is edited by Stefano Casciani and contains writings by Maurizio Bortolotti, Stefano Casciani, Massimiliano Di Bartolomeo, Hans Hollein, Giovanna Mazzocchi Bordone, Maria Grazia Mazzocchi, Alessandro Mendini and Lisa Licitra Ponti, a photographic section of images selected from the Domus editorial archive, photographs by Pino Guidolotti of his home and studio in Paris and an anthology of writings by the critic who founded the Nouveaux Réalistes.

A series of extracts from the book will be published on line on Domusweb over the forthcoming weeks, inside the Domus Books section.
