The eleventh (and last) instalment of the “Past Present Future” series is a conversation with Stefano Boeri. The architect tells: “My life as an architect is a kind of oscillation between two main directions: one is about research, inclusion, explore new feelings, the capacity to absorb suggestions, ideas and information; the other is about design, that means the selection of opportunities, new configurations, to define one unique physical, material configuration.”

Boeri says: “I did my best to cultivate obsessions and failures... At a certain moment, I understood that it was very important to elaborate failures, and to make that process public”. Finally, he suggests: “Never abandon the curiosity and the attraction for inclusion and opening new windows in different parts of the world. At the same time, never abandon the necessity to take care of your capacity to design something which is heavy and physically super determinant.”
