The company, led by Francesco Casoli, is characterised by its constant quest for innovation, which has resulted in one of the flagships of this evolution: YouChef. 
This technology, which powers the entire new cooking collection, also enhances the performance of Lhov: designed to assist the user in preparing food, it combines traditional cooking and steam cooking to produce results that are truly chef-like.

Among the "5 pluses" of Lhov, as Elica defines them, is undoubtedly the powerful extraction system that works not only on the hob but for the first time also directly inside the oven, eliminating the unpleasant odours and vapours that would otherwise be emitted when the oven is opened. The product's sleek and minimalist design, with its linear black glass aesthetics, blends in perfectly with any type of kitchen. In fact, Lhov integrates perfectly into the cabinetry, optimising space, enhancing the linearity of the kitchen design and reducing the number of appliances required. 

At the same time, its extra-large oven cavity, with 30% more capacity than traditional ovens, allows more dishes to be cooked at the same time, making it much more efficient to use. But cooking at the same time does not necessarily mean cooking in the same way: versatility is one of its other strengths, thanks to the combination of several cooking options.
Another plus is the power and flexibility of the induction hob, which has five combinable zones for cooking even large pots. All this is accompanied by digital, ergonomic, interactive and connected display for fingertip operation of Lhov and its cutting-edge functions 
 

For its exceptional combination of innovation and design, Elica's new kitchen solution has been awarded the Compasso D'Oro ADI, an international design prize, now in its 28th edition, which each year selects the most interesting and revolutionary products on the contemporary Italian scene.
