The domestic window frame, in the same way as a ceramic wall covering, a wooden furniture system, wallpaper or boiserie, is to be considered a fundamental element in interior design, as well as being a relational device that connects interiors with the surrounding spaces. This attitude is followed by Oknoplast, a multinational group specialised in the design and production of PVC and aluminium windows.

The company presents a new collection of frames with a metropolitan taste, refined and contemporary, perfect for both industrial style contexts and classic homes. The Titano Steel collection by Oknoplast is characterised by its perfect and essential geometry, which is especially enhanced by the reduced central knot, the centrally positioned handle and the square and perfectly 90° glazing beads. The new Titano line window is also defined by the decorative shaping of the outer profile of the frame and sash, an effect that gives the entire structure an unmistakable sophistication.

The light and strong aluminium enables excellent technical parameters – Uw up to 0.80 W/m2K (with thermal insulation) – making it an increasingly popular alternative to PVC. In addition, the new Titano Steel boasts the third gasket as standard, which raises the technical and insulation parameters of the window to a truly impressive water and air tightness: tested with wind gusts up to 160km/h and more than 12 hours of torrential rain, it maintains its resistance capacity unchanged.

Titano Steel can also be fitted with Warmatec or Swisspacer thermal ducts for reduced heat dispersion and therefore greater comfort inside the rooms, an aspect that becomes crucial especially in open space contexts, which are difficult to heat/cool. The French window version of Titano Steel can be fitted with a lowered threshold – just 19 mm – which makes it imperceptible – as well as secure – in environments where there is indoor-outdoor continuity. In terms of security, the window can be supplemented with RC2-class fittings to limit break-in attempts and make the home safer and more peaceful.
