New products from RAK Ceramics at Cersaie

The company presents a series of artistic enamel washbasins and a new lightweight shower tray.

At Cersaie – the most anticipated international event for those involved in surface design and technology and the bathroom furnishing sector – BAK Ceramics presented two new bathroom collections: the RAK-Batu washbasins and the RAK-Ether shower tray. The new products follow the company's vision of an innovative spirit of design, developed through the use of integrated products and systems for floor and wall coverings, sanitary ware and bathroom furniture, all under the banner of innovation and design. For over 30 years, RAK Ceramics has been creating icons in collaboration with architects and interior designers using sustainable materials that inspire ideas, shapes and shades designed to freely express any style. The washbasins in the RAK-Batu series feature a new artistic glaze, obtained by adding Mica particles to the mix (a family of minerals to which muscovite belongs). It is available in round, oval and rectangular shapes for a total of 9 beautiful and unique products that create a natural, tropical atmosphere with the minimalist aesthetics of contemporary design. Combined with natural materials such as wood, stone and rattan, the available finishes (Mica White, Mica Warm Grey and Mica Cool Grey) give the bathroom the same warm and inviting atmosphere as a breathtaking exotic destination.

Also known as the fifth element or quintessence, ether represents lightness: something so light that it overcomes the force of gravity. This is where the concept of these extremely thin RAK Ceramics shower trays (only 2.6 cm) was born. Made of RAKSOLITE, a lighter composition than the durable solid surface RAKSOLID, it consists of a mixture of natural minerals and resins. The shower tray series has aesthetic characteristics similar to slate while guaranteeing non-slip safety. RAK-Ether's elegant matt white finish and its availability in 13 different sizes add a distinctive touch to the shower area.  The low weight of these shower trays (on average 2.5 times lighter than other trays) and the possibility of easy customisation on site (cutting with wooden tools) make them even more versatile and easy to handle and install.
