Furniture enhancing the uniqueness of every place

MDF Italia's new Contract book brings out a proposal of transversal furniture with a strong aesthetic impact.

The term "contract" has been assimilated by the most assiduous readers of Domus and is now clear to designers and professionals who are accustomed to designing medium to large-scale projects by referring to a certain type of supply and production process. When we speak of contract we are referring to a particular type of furniture designed for public spaces, workplaces, collectives and hospitality facilities such as hotels and restaurants. Among the realities that stand out in this new way of conceiving space, MDF Italia focuses on the uniqueness of each place, even when it is dedicated to work or hospitality. With its new Contract Book, the company presents a wide range of transversal furnishings with a strong aesthetic impact, which do not condition the surrounding environment, but allow themselves to be interpreted by everyone's creativity.

The MDF Italia contract proposal was born thanks to the stylistic affinity and shared design approach between the company and 967arch. The collaboration took concrete form firstly in the use of MDF Italia collections in contract projects developed by the Milanese studio and later with the recognition of 967arch's architectural projects as the identity of a precise design philosophy. For MDF Italia, hospitality is a question of context and atmosphere: two concepts explored for a long time in the domestic sphere, and today translated into a contract key in the main meeting and sharing places of contemporaneity. This vision is translated into versatile and universal furnishing solutions, capable of combining practicality and aesthetic sense; a complexity to which MDF Italia responds by "taming" these places of passage. MDF Italia's Contract Book offers a coherent and sophisticated narrative that traverses the common spaces such as the reception, the cafeteria, the restaurant, passing through the corridors, the rooms such as the Superior Guestroom and the Excecutive Suite, up to the Rooftop, the meeting place with the brand's outdoor soul.
