New Caccaro bed collection for mutable spaces

Thanks to Caccaro, the sleeping area becomes a customisable environment that can be adapted to the changing needs of contemporary life.

In recent years we have witnessed a radical transformation of the house, its meanings and the way we use it: it is becoming an increasingly flexible, hybrid and multifunctional place. Even the bedroom is adapting to the new mutations: it is not only a room to rest, but also a space to take care of oneself, or to work - perhaps for those who do smartworking and live in a small space. Given the uniqueness of the habits and rituals that take place in the home's most private environment, the fundamental characteristic of the furniture that defines it must be customisation.

Caccaro's constant quest to create unique living spaces has led the company to reinterpret the night area with an innovative collection of beds, which stems from a simple intuition: separating the headboard from the bed frame and then freely combining them in multiple solutions.

The Caccaro collections allow a great variety of intersections between compositions, fabrics, dimensions, elements and accessories, creating proposals capable of responding to different aesthetic and functional needs. Moreover, the Italian company's beds integrate perfectly with all the furnishing elements of the Wallover® and Freedhome® systems, both produced by Caccaro.

Among the new products presented by Caccaro is the Let'space bed, featuring a headboard free to span along the wall. This element becomes almost a boiserie, a 13 cm deep compartment on which to place glasses, photographs, books and much more. The Bishape bed, designed by Monica Graffeo, shows a headboard divided into two parts and which can be composed of different geometries: circles or rectangles. On its sides we find an original light support that can be rotated by 90°.

With Groove, designer Monica Graffeo enacts a deconstruction of the bed. An original multifunctional aluminium bar can act as a bedhead, but can also be interpreted with great freedom, thanks to the addition of various accessories (the configuration that combines Zip cushions with the Groove bar is called Groove Zip). Also by Monica Graffeo is the design of Ajar: a textile bed that takes its name from the half-open slit - ajar in English - in the cushions that make up the headboard. The graphic, soft and essential lines generate a clean and original product.

Toffee is defined by its full, curved lines. The angle formed by the union of headboard and bed frame, the profile of the headboard given by the upholstery, and the precise neatness of the stitching are carefully crafted details that make up its soft essence.
