Supporting manufacturers in the increasingly complex and multi-faceted activity of design and project development: since 1986 Fauciglietti Engineering has been one of the most highly regarded consultancy companies, thanks also to its multidisciplinary team.
Fauciglietti Engineering is a research and development centre established in 1986 in Cantù, Lombardy, with the aim of supporting companies in the production of design products. The company stands out for its holistic vision and multidisciplinary team. Fauciglietti works in various areas of design, from furnishing to the creation of architectural elements such as doors and staircases. It takes care of all aspects of the project: R&D, marketing, design, modelling, prototyping, procurement, etc.
At the heart of every project developed by Fauciglietti Engineering is research, efficiency, the desire to innovate production processes and cut costs.
Although it is best known for its engineering and development services, Fauciglietti also deals with design. In fact, its services cover the entire process leading to the creation of new products, both craft and industrial. Some products are entirely designed by the company, while many others are 'hidden', i.e. not declared to the public. In these cases, the company asks its clients to indicate as design the entire working group involved in the project, as happened in the case of the Techne staircase where the design appears as: Centro Ricerca Fontanot.
The consultancy services offered also include pre- and post-design and production analysis activities. The company also intervenes on the surface treatments of products, often proposing new finishes or borrowing from other product sectors, renewing the aesthetics of the products.
The value of the services offered by Fauciglietti is testified by the number of patents filed: there are 49 of them, including invention, utility and ornamental patents. Some of the most important patents developed by the company are the Convex door, the Uno chair, the Ala shower cubicle and the Techne staircase.
The achievements of the last few years are many and varied. The adaptive working method allows the customer a wide freedom of choice on what to do to best meet his needs.
