Joseph Guerra – a LA native – and Sina Sohrab who is born in Iran and raised in Detroit, designed a set of sculptural nesting trivets inspired by the looping shapes of freeway systems and the infrastructure of transportation.

The VSBY Trivet is an imaginative take on the classic cast-iron model, crafted in black  3D printed porcelain in a numbered edition. The relationship between the feet and tracks is inherently architectural; they act as piers supporting the deck of a bridge. The trivets can be used alone for small and medium items, or together for larger items.
