Louis Vuitton has been synonymous with the Art of Travel since its creation in 1854. Sharing the vision of innovative creativity, art of travel and savoir-faire, the Objets Nomades continue Louis Vuitton’s tradition of offering its customers new visions on how to travel. The collection, continuously developing, currently counts 16 travel-inspired objects of foldable furnitures, all in noble materials and made as unique pieces, limited editions or experimental prototypes.

From a hammock to living room furniture in precious Nomade leather; from a foldable bed to a Maracatu, the Objets Nomades take inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s Special Orders – such as the iconic Bed-Trunk (1880) made for explorer Pierre de Brazza or the Library Trunk (1923) and the Wardrobe Trunk (1875) – adding a defiantly contemporary spirit. A beach chair inspired by the iconic cotton strap, the one used for ensuring a safe packing in Louis Vuitton trunks and suitcases; a swing chair that is a clear reference to the typical seamed handle bag or a bell lamp, inspired by the Noé bag; they all pay a tribute to the iconic products and signatures of the brand.
