Atelier 37.2’s inhabited wooden sculpture, conceived for the Sculpture by the Sea Festival in Aarhus, turns the landscape in two monochromatic ever-changing “Rothko paintings”.
Playing with classical perspective deconstruction, Francesca Bonesio and Nicolas Guiraud, founders of Atelier 37.2 created their work for Sculpture by the Sea: a wooden room within which the horizon line disappears.
New horizon let visitors experience the landscape as two monochromatic ever-changing “Rothko paintings”.
