Although their respective names sound almost the same, Sonos and Sonance are two distinct companies active in the audio market. Now they have partnered up to launch the first family of architectural speakers compatible with Sonos Amp, the streaming-ready amplifier that Sonos launched in August 2018. The Architectural Speakers line-up includes three products: the In-Ceiling speakers, ideal for spacious rooms (599$/pair); the In-Wall speakers, designed especially for home theater sound (599$/pair); the Outdoor speakers (799$/pair), which can withstand humidity, water, salt spray and heat. The In-Wall and In-Ceiling speakers are already available for preorder in Europe, with an expected shipping date of February 26.
